What you have caught on camera is captured forever!
To Book Your Session
Purchase a portrait session through our online booking system here on the date you require to secure your session. The session fee will be put towards wall art.
My lifestyle sessions are open Monday to Friday, and Saturdays and Sundays. Sessions take place at a location an hour before sunset for prettier soft light. Weekend sessions are very popular so book now to secure your portrait session. Allow 1 hour for your photography session.
Once your session has been booked, we will have a pre-consultation via phone or meeting over coffee at a café to fully discuss how we are going to tailor your session. During this time includes showing some products and finished wall art samples to help in your decision making for finalising your choice in collections or products when you receive your online gallery.
This is where all the fun begins! During your session, I will begin by spending a few minutes to get to know you, this gives your family a chance to get used to the camera, and allow me the opportunity to capture your family's personality.
I will capture your children as they naturally are, having fun and full of laughter in a relaxed atmosphere. I will capture a variety of poses and candid shots to ensure we get the images that capture your family's story.
This is the exciting stage of viewing your images for the first time! 2 weeks after your session, you will be able to view your private online gallery and start to choose your favourite images. We will arrange a time to go over products and packages, from there we will begin to design a collection that meets your needs, providing you with gorgeous wall art to be treasured for a lifetime.
What To Wear
The outfits you choose for your session are one of the most important factors in your photos. Not only do they play a huge role in the visual aspect of the photos, but whether or not your child feels comfortable has a huge effect on their mood and energy.
Below I have some suggestions for outfits, but the single most important tip I can give you is to ALWAYS place comfort at the top of your priority list. A comfortable child is a happy child :)
1) CHOOSE CLOTHING THAT YOUR CHILD LIKES TO WEAR
If you have a specific outfit or look in mind, get them wearing that outfit ahead of time so that they can get used to it.
2) COORDINATE COLOUR, BUT DON'T OVER MATCH
Earth tones, pastel or neutrals will have the best results on camera and give your photos a cohesive look without being "too matchy"
3) ADD LAYERS FOR MOVEMENT
A shawl, dress or loose jacket will accentuate movement in photos.
